Paul Fredrick Cook was born on February 15, 1940 in Viane Oklahoma. He passed away peacefully in his home in Fellows, Ca on June 22, 2019.

He is survived by his wife Loretta (Sutton) Cook, Son Mike Cook and wife Mary, Daughter Paula Glendening and husband Greg, Sisters Frita Barnett, Ruby Cox, Brother Kenny Cook, six step-children, 14 grand children, 17 great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his son David Cook, his three brothers; Iran, Ronnie, Roy Dale, and his parents LeRoy and Nellie.

He has been a Taft resident for 77 years. Paul graduated from Taft High School then served in the US Marine Corp from 1958-1962. Mr. Cook retired after 28 years with Shell Oil as a Roustabout Field Foreman then became the Rural Route Postman for Mckittrick for 20 years. He had a great passion for making rock jewelry.

Their will be a viewing Sunday June 30th at Erickson & Brown Funeral Home, 501 Lucard St. in Taft, CA from 12pm – 3pm. Graveside services will be held on July 1st at 10:35 at Bakersfield National Cemetery in Arvin, CA.

Memorial Dinner will be held Monday July 1st 4:00pm following graveside service. At Taft Moose Lodge 205 1/2 N 10th St.
