PAUL DENNIS MELTON June 4, 1972 - August 22, 2009

Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. for Paul D. Melton, 37. Paul was born in Taft on June 4, 1972 and passed away on August 22, 2009. He graduated from Taft Union High School and has worked for the family business, Jerry Melton & Sons Construction, since he was 12 years old. Paul enjoyed camping and fishing with his family, model airplanes, RC cars, and motorcycles. His survivors include his parents, Jerry and Judy Melton of Taft; his brothers and sisters and their spouses, David and Kim Melton of Bakersfield, Karen and Steve Havens of Taft, Linda and John Folger of Bakersfield, Steven and Robyn Melton of Taft, and Greg and Tabitha Melton of Taft; his girlfriend, Andrea Bullard and her children, James Casteel and Brystal Wood all of Taft; his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other family members from California to Arkansas. Paul will be greatly missed by all.
