Bruce Eugene Long

Bruce Eugene Long was born in Taft on March 1, 1953 and passed away peacefully at his home, Carrington of Shafter Assisted Living Facility on June 15, 2024. Bruce is survived by his brother Bill (Deanna), nephews and nieces, Tisha Long, Kari Zachary (David), Lisa Villalpondo (Richard), Kelly Long, Stacy Kanady, Billy Long (Krista), Eric Long and several great nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Nora Long, and brother, Bob. Special thanks to Bruce’s Carrington family for the many years of great care and friendships. Graveside services will be held at the West Side District Cemetery in Taft on Wednesday, June 26 at 9:00 a.m. We would like to invite everyone for a get together following the service at the Ranch Grill Restaurant. Funeral Services are under the direction of Erickson and Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
