Debbie was born November 19, 1951 in Bakersfield and passed away May 21, 2016 in Lancaster after a brief illness. After she moved to Lancaster, she was a homemaker and enjoyed several hobbies including scrapbooking, bingo, and cards with friends. Over the years she enjoyed training her beloved German Shepherds. Her most recent interest was nose work training with her poodle, Indy. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Don and Connie Pevey of Maricopa; husband, George Adkins; great nephew, Parker Northern; and great niece, Madeline Northern. Her survivors include son, Rob and Cheri Adkins; granddaughter, Sonoma; sisters, Toni and Mike McKnight, and Julie Rushing and fiancAC. Dennis Robins; nieces, Elizabeth McKnight, Michelle McKnight, and Heather and Travis Northern; great nephews, Jackson; Andrea and Frank Sanders; great nephew, Godric; great niece, Gabriella; and great nephew Galen. She is also survived by aunt, Grace Camini; cousins, Joyce and Vic Willoughby, Lynnora Gomes, and Guy and Joni Camini; dogs, Bella and Indy; cat, Mia; and many great friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Larry and Bonnie Ramirez for their loving care. A celebration of Debbie's life will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at her home in Lancaster, California.
