Debra Lynn Olexa

Debra Lynn Phillips-Olexa was born May 9, 1955 in Key West, FL to William and Mary Alice Phillips (Brown) and passed away on February 13, 2020 in Maricopa, CA. Debra was a devoted wife and mother, her family always came first. She devoted her life to raising a happy and healthy family. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents Reverend William Phillips and Mary Alice Sontag, her brother William Robert Phillips, and son Matthew Evan French.

Debra leaves behind her husband of 15 years, Patrick Olexa; step-father Ernest Sontag, her sons Jeremy Eugene French (Monica, grandchildren Jeremy II, Kaitlyn, Ainsley), Joshua Lynn French, Benjamin Keith French (Brandon, Violet, Matthew, Danny) and Matthew Evan French’s daughter Darby Ramona Larsen-French and 4 great-grandchildren.

Her viewing will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 4-7:00 pm at Erickson and Brown Funeral Home, Taft, CA. There will be a Graveside Service on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 11:00 am at West Side District Cemetery at 440 East Cedar Street, Taft, CA 93268. A private reception for immediate family only will be held afterwards.
