Eddy Copeland

Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. for Taft resident, Eddy Copeland, 64. Chaplain Kevin Crawford will officiate. Mr. Copeland was born in Paris, Texas on August 2, 1951 and passed away in Taft on February 26, 2016. He had been employed as a truck driver for over 25 years, the last 15 years of which he had been employed by KVS. Mr. Copeland enjoyed fishing, CB radio, old music and computers. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and his greatest love. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Mr. Copeland is survived by his wife, Sue Copeland; his children, Mike Copeland and his wife, Juana all of Taft, Susan Copeland of Bakersfield and Carrie Miles of South Carolina; his step-son and his wife, John and Celest Burton; his sister and her husband, Darlene and Don Davis all of Taft; his eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. His family would like to thank Hoffmann Hospice, especially his case manager, Anna Goods, RN, Maria, LVN, Uliana, SN and Veronica, HA. Friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
