Geral Davis, age 86, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026.
He was born in Tupelo, Arkansas, and lived a life marked by hard work, humor, and a love for simple pleasures. Known as a jack of many trades, Geral spent his life working with his hands and helping others whenever he could.
Geral was a man who enjoyed the little things in life. He loved a good cup of coffee, motorcycles, and sharing a laugh with those around him. A natural jokester, he had a way of bringing smiles to the faces of family and friends. Those who knew him will remember his humor, his stories, and the warmth he brought into a room.
He is survived by his son, Geral Ray Davis, and daughter-in-law Ginny Davis; bonus daughter Charlotte Murch and her husband Mike Murch; and son-in-law Jim Barron. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly, along with extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ethele Barron, and wife Ineta Davis.
A graveside service will be held at Westside District Cemetery in Taft, California, on March 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate his life.
Geral will be remembered for his laughter, his stories, and the love he shared with those around him.
