James Cranford

James Cranford, 68, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. James was a son to the late John E and Agnes Laverne (Yochum) Cranford. He was born and raised in Richgrove, California, and resided in Taft, California for the majority of his adult life. James was a devout Christian and loving husband, step-father and brother. He succumbed to his courageous battle with cancer with dignity and his everlasting faith in God.

James loved listening to his favorite country/gospel music and caring for his step-daughter, Amy. He also loved spending time with his brother, Ricky Yochum, as they had a loving bond as children and throughout adulthood.

He is preceded in death by both parents and his loving sister, Sandra (Cranford) Solf who went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2021.

James is survived by his loving wife, Angie Cranford; his stepchildren, Amy, Aaricka and Jacob; his sister, Marla Ybarra, his brother, Ricky Yochum and wife, Debbie Yochum; his brother-in-law, Richard Solf; nephews, Jeremy, Jason, Brandon and Brian and niece, Ashleigh; and several step-grandchildren and great nephews and nieces.

James was a wonderful man with a heart of gold and a lot of love to give. He will be greatly missed on this earth, but we look forward to the day we join him again and rejoice with our Almighty Father and loved ones for Eternity.
