Josephine Mae Dewing

Josephine 'Jo' Mae (Fenger) Dewing 90, passed away October 3, 2024 surrounded by family in Roseville, CA. She was born in Chicago, IL Sep. 25, 1934 to Fred Fenger and Margaret Anne (Suddoth) Pascoe. She had one sister, Midge Campbell and three half-siblings: Clarence, Norbert and Barbara Fenger-Lloyd. She is survived by her 3 daughters: Jewell Jones, Elaine Sepulveda, Joanne Comstock (Bob Comstock), and son, Bill Dewing. Preceding her in death: Herbert W. Dewing, husband & Jim Jones, son-in-law. She is survived by 11 grand, 27 great, & 12 great-great grandchildren. She served in the US Air Force as an operator and Airman 2nd Class. She retired from Kern County Dept of Human Services after 20 plus years of devoted service. She was also an avid Genealogist and enjoyed her vacations by researching family records throughout the states.

Services will be held @1pm Sunday Oct 20th, with viewing 12 - 1pm & 2 - 3pm at Erickson & Brown Mortuary in Taft, CA. Military honors will be held @ her gravesite on Monday Oct 21st, 10AM @ Westside Cemetery in Taft, CA
