Joyce Willowdean (Gunter) Houle

Joyce Willowdean (Gunter) Houle was born July 27, 1952 at The Fort in Taft to Crowley Cleve Gunter and Bertha Oneida Johnson and went to be with the Lord Saturday February 27, 2016 in Bakersfield. Joyce was greeted in heaven by her parents and her son Andy Houle. She leaves behind a loving family, her daughters, Vallorie Rubright (Jeff) of Bakersfield and Amber Moffitt (James) of Taft, grandchildren; Bryndin and Preston Rubright, Zack Fearon, River and Aubreigh Houle, and Christian Moffitt, brothers; Phillip Johnson (LaWanda) of Taft and Steve Gunter (Barbara) of Oklahoma, sisters; Billie Nowlin (John) of South San Francisco and Jimmie Dickerson (Hardy) of Antlers, Oklahoma as well as numerous other family and friends. Her daughters would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Hoffman Hospice Home for the care and kindness they gave their mother during her final days. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Westside District Cemetery Mausoleum officiated by Pastor Tom White.
