Kenneth Wayne Jackson

Memorial services for Ken Jackson will be held at First Baptist Church of Taft, on May 5, Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Pastor Scott Pearson will officiate. Mr. Jackson was born in Kentucky on September 3, 1938 and passed away in his sleep after a battle with cancer on April 19, 2018. Ken met Donna on a blind date in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Her father retired from the army in 1963 and moved to Buena Park, CA. Ken followed Donna to California and they moved to Taft, CA. Ken worked for Pioneer Chevy for several years. Ken then opened Jackson’s Auto Repair in 1974. He had a passion for cars and could fix just about anything. When he wasn’t working on them he could found at Famosa Drag Strip racing his hot rod.
