Kenneth Lee Kolar

Kenneth Lee Kolar, born April 19, 1948, in Bakersfield, California, passed away peacefully at home on October 31, 2025, with the love of his life by his side.

Known affectionately as “Gabby,” he was cherished for his warmth, his humor, and his remarkable gift for storytelling. If you knew Gabby, you knew his signature look: his bib overalls, his straw hat, and his bright red “happy shoes,” a reflection of his joyful spirit.

He found delight in the simple things—browsing for the perfect find, cooking with creativity and flair, and diving into the world of automobiles as a devoted car enthusiast. Gabby lived with kindness, zest, and a deep love for those around him.

He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
