Leona Ruth Cox

Leona was born on December 11, 1934 in Norman, Oklahoma to Ernest and Elvera Witt. She passed away on July 1, 2016 in Bakersfield, California. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Elvera Witt; stepmother, Ruth Witt; sons, Ernie and Herbert Anderson; sisters, Dixie Witt and Patricia Brittan. She is survived by her son, Michael Anderson; grandsons, Jason Anderson and Richard Anderson; granddaughters, Amy Armstrong and Elizabeth Anderson; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home Chapel, 501 Lucard Street, Taft, California.
