Lesha was born in Taft, CA to Gerald and Dorothy (Adkins) Parsons on February 21, 1961. Following a brief battle with leukemia, she passed away with her family by her side on November 10, 2023 in Los Angeles, CA.
Lesha spent her entire life in Taft and was a proud graduate of Taft Union High School. She married her beloved husband Khalil Ramzan in 1979. Her only child and son, Amin Ramzan, was born in 1983.
Lesha was a kind and selfless woman that always put the interests of others before her own. She was a consummate caregiver, spending over three decades operating a children’s day care business out of her family home. She made an enormous impact in the lives of the children she took care of. Up until her passing, she still received visits from people she had taken care of as children, so they could update her on their lives.
Family was always most important for Lesha and she was an incredibly dedicated daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was happiest when spending time with family on camping trips at Pismo Beach and the occasional getaway to Las Vegas with Khalil. She had a very gentle heart and had many cherished animals throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband Khalil Ramzan, son Amin (Michelle) Ramzan, grandson Haaris Ramzan and brother Jerry (Edie) Parsons.
Graveside services will be held at West Side Cemetery District, 440 E Cedar Street, Taft, California on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 10AM.
