Linda Kay Fielding Barrett

Linda Barrett was born on November 26, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away in Shafter, California after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Barrett. Linda is survived by her children, Cynthia Childers and husband, Donnie, Jay Barrett and wife, Lori, Eddie Barrett and wife, Melinda and Terrie Barrett Erlewine and husband, Don; eight grandchildren, Faith Reynolds and husband, Tim, Doug Hunt and wife, Veronica, Jason Geiser and wife, Brandi, Jeffery Barrett and wife, Mystie, Brent Barrett Bowser and wife, Abbi and Christopher Conners and wife, Lisa; 16 great-grandchildren, Maycie, Ashlyn, Jaycie, Jaxon, Taylor, Trinity, Cheyenne, Mikie, Garrett, Urjah, Jayden, Destanie, Belle, London, Kayden and Jason, Jr. The family would like to thank Golden Living Center in Shafter for all the LOVING CARE taking care of Linda and her brother, Edward Fielding and sister-in-law, Sukum, for their support. A memorial service will be held at the Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, CA on Friday, January 22, 2016, at 1:15 p.m. Following the service a gathering will take place at the Erlewine's residence at 8901 Ginger Oak Lane, Bakersfield, CA.
