Obituary

Linda Sue Shelton was born in Martinez, California on March 29, 1949 and passed on April 1, 2022 at the age of 73.  Linda spent most of her childhood in the Taft area before moving to Arvin and meeting and marrying her first husband David with which she had two sons David Jr and Alfred.  Linda lived in a few places before eventually finding her way back to Taft.  That is where she met and married her husband, Michael Phillips.  Michael and Linda were happily married for over 20 years and loved spending time together.  One of their favorite things was going camping on the coast.  Both were strong believers in Christ and tried to live by his word.  Linda is preceded in death by her son David Segobia, Jr., her mother Margaret (Betty) Collins, father Radeo Shelton, and her maternal grandparents Frank and Docia Collins.  She leaves behind her loving husband Michael Phillips and his children and grandchildren, her son Alfred, her grandson Brandon, her sister Gola Manasco and her children Bruce, Debra, Kimberly, and Johnny, her cousin Robert Earl Frenya, as well as other loving family and friends.
