Marla Kay Holmquist

Born: June 17th, 1960

Passed Away: September 18th, 2021

We lost a mother, a wife and a grandmother to go fly high with the angels in heaven. She is going to be missed by many of the loved ones she left behind. Her husband of 23 years, John Westbrook, her oldest daughter Dawn Holmquist and her husband Pat McDonell and her kids Kaydin and MaryJane. Her middle daughter Crystal Conners and her husband Gary Conners and her kids Gary, Gage, and Riley. And Rebecca and her two boys Bradley and Andrew and the many other kids that she didn’t give birth to that called her mom like Janine Blackburn and Vanessa Ortiz, just to name a few. And there were many others that called her mom over the years. That is one thing mom did was help kids when they needed it.

She was in so much pain and suffering. We can all move on knowing that she is pain free and smiling down on us from heaven. She is flying high in heaven with her daughter Rebecca, her mom Alice and her dad Sonny and the many other loved ones that we have lost over the years.

Crystal didn’t just lose her mom; she lost her best friend. The one person that she would talk to about everything.
