Peggy Ann George

1937 – 2020

Peggy George was born January 2, 1937 in Tuscumbia, Alabama to Marvin and Elizabeth Olive and passed away on January 25, 2020 in Taft, CA. Peggy was a devoted wife and mother, her family always came first. Peggy organized all family events coordinating schedules, schools and activities. She served as a Girl Scout Leader for many years, along with all her other responsibilities. Peggy ‘s focus was always on making sure her family’s needs were met successfully. She devoted her life to raising a happy and healthy family. She was always selfless. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Elizabeth Olive, her son Randall James George, and brother John Box.

Peggy leaves behind her husband of 69 years, Lloyd K. George; her daughters Susan Price (Shane), Jeanette Davis, and Laurie Dennis; Grandchildren Brandi Smith (Harold), Taylor Thomas, Sarah Parker (Austin), Ian Price and Emalyne Davis; Son-in-law Michael Dixon, and 4 Great-grandchildren.

Her viewing was held on Thursday January 30th, 2020 from 5-8 pm at Erickson and Brown Funeral Home, Taft, CA. There was a Graveside Service on Friday January 31st, 2020 at 10:00 am at West Side District Cemetery in Taft, CA.
