Robert Anthony Sanchez passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Bakersfield, California on January 3rd, 2025, at the age of 27. Robert was born in Santa Maria, California to his father Robert Sanchez and mother Rachel Lovett. He went through school in Taft, California. He was a young father who started his working career when his daughter, Aaliyah Marie Sanchez was born in 2016.
Robert had many hobbies and could connect with anyone. He enjoyed watching sports like the Dallas Cowboys or LA Dodgers and overtime began to talk about any team and their status. UFC had become one of his favorite sports to watch. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. His comfort show was Friday Night Lights, he liked it so much he dressed up as the coach for Halloween and always quoted the show. He was always able to light up a room and fill it with laughter. If there was music playing, he would dance with a crowd around him. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Robert is preceded in death by his grandfather's Ramon Sanchez and George Gonzales. He is survived by his father Robert Sanchez (Jennifer), mother Rachel Lovett (Jonathan), sisters Vanessa Jameson (Zackary) and Monique Sanchez, daughter Aaliyah Sanchez, partner Ruby Lozano, niece Adrienne Jameson, nephew Sebastian Jameson, grandmothers Maria Sanchez, and Frances Baldivia, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Robert's celebration of life will begin with a Church service on Friday January 31st, 2025, at 9:00am at The First Baptist Church located at 220 North St, Taft, CA, followed by a Graveside service at 10:00am at the West Side Cemetery in Taft, CA.
