Tevis Stephens of Taft passed away September 23, 2018 in Bakersfield, CA. Tevis was preceded in death by his brother James Edwards, grandparents Geraldine and George Akers, and his grandmother Virginia Desjardins. Tevis was born to Terry Stephens and Tami French in Taft on August 6, 1977. Tevis is survived by children Taari Morgan, Kaijah Stephens, Tehya Stephens and Michael Gonzales; siblings Jesse Hernandez, Misty Armstrong and Yolan Hampton; grandfather Frank Desjardins, as well as his nephews, aunts and uncles. Services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Erickson and Brown, 501 Lucard St., Taft, CA 93268.
