Wanda "Smitty" Reese

Wanda M. Reese was born on May 31, 1932 to Ike and Eula Hays in Comanche, Oklahoma. Wanda passed away at her home on June 17, 2016 in Taft. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy; sister, Norma; and Baby Hays. Wanda is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jim Reese; son, Don Reese and wife Cathy of Bakersfield; daughter, Vickie Kincaid and husband Doug of Taft; her grandchildren, Tom and Kristen Reese of Bakersfield, Tammie and Brian Thom of Missouri, Jarod Kibbe of Bakersfield, Brian and Michelle Kincaid, and Tony and Crystal Kincaid of Taft; great-grandchildren, Jake and wife Caty, Cherise, Luke, Reanna; Phenix and Carsyn; Jordan, Shelby, Curtis, and Jamie; Mat, Natalie, and Wendy; great-great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Amelia, and Addison. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Crystal Kincaid and Optimal Hospice. A graveside funeral service will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Tom White of Cuyama Assembly of God will officiate at the service.
